We analyzed thousands of festivals to show you the ultimate top 100 electronic lineups from around the world. The list is based on pure mathematics and represents events with the very best acts in the last year.
The score of a festival is calculated by adding DJ points of all electronic artist who played there in 2018. Each individual act has a score based on the number of festival bookings in the last three years and can be found in our top 100 acts list.
Big, bigger, ADE. With 1000 events at more than 200 venues, ADE breaks all boundaries. ADE is regarded as the leading music conference for all genres of electronic music, but not only trade visitors get their money's worth. While the conferences are held during the day, over 2,500 artists play at night. In 2018, 400,000 festival visitors from over 100 countries were attracted - perhaps there will be a new record in 2019.

Raising the experience of electronic music to the next level. 2018 was all about The Story of Planaxis - a tale about mysteries, a new perspective on life and most valuable gifts of mother nature and brought 1,000 artists from all electronic genres giving joy to 400,000 people over two consecutive weekends at the end of July.
Located at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Electric Daisy Carnival is the biggest Electronic Festival in the US and invites its visitors to celebrate life, love, art, and music. Year after year it attracts more than 400.000 enthusiastic festival goers. Each EDC stage stands for a unique union of technology and nature. Lovers of dubstep, bass house, drum & bass + trap should check out the “bassPOD”, the home for all EDC headbangers.
Creamfields has many international spin-offs nowadays, but the original one was founded in Winchester, England over 10 years ago. The one-day event has grown into a four-day event that attracts up to 80,000 visitors annually and is UK's number one electronic Festival. The stages feature all electronic music styles from EDM, house, trance to drum 'n' bass, grime and more, presented by more than 300 artists. The festival takes place annually during the UK’s bank holiday weekend.
Also, just a few years old ParookaVille is now, one of the biggest EDM festivals in Germany. 80,000 EDM fans came to ParookaVille in 2018 and danced to the sound of 250 DJs on 10 stages. Once a year the festival city comes to life to celebrate electronic music and give the visitors a magical place to escape from their dreary daily lives and dive into a world of dreams.
Encircled by a mighty forest Airbeat One takes place on a former airport - enough space for 55,000 people celebrating together. Last year, the festival’s theme was all about “United Kingdom” which was reflected in elaborate replicas of Tower Bridge and London Eye. In total, almost 170 acts and DJs heated up the enthusiastic audience.
Mysteryland attracts 100,000 annual visitors and is the second flagship of ID&T which is the company behind Tomorrowland. Musical diversity is deeply rooted in its DNA. More than 300 artists perform on multiple stages, covering all genres within the spectrum of electronic music. Next, to the dance floors, the various paths through forests and grassy fields lead to hidden chill out spaces, art installations, food courts and unexpected encounters with like-minded travelers from more than 100 nationalities.
Founded in 1999 ULTRA Music Festival Miami celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018. UMF is named after "Ultra" – 1997 released Depeche Mode album. The festival offers a wide range of electronic music, thus both techno-lovers and EDM-worshipper get their money’s worth. In recent years, more than 160,000 visitors have come regularly. The flagship event takes place in Miami, but there is also a larger series of ULTRA Worldwide events all around the world. Keep in mind that 2019’s edition will be held on Virginia Key for the first time.
